Fuel price rules

No act in force requires the price on a station's pylon sign to match the price at the pump or the till, and none limits how often prices may change. Bill XVP-1450, which would allow raising prices no more than once per day, is registered in the Seimas; its consideration is paused and it has not been adopted. Charging a price other than the one displayed is a misleading commercial practice — supervised by the VVTAT, with fines provided by law.

Euribor is the rate at which European banks lend to each other. Mortgage payments depend on it: you pay ‘Euribor + bank margin’, and the 6-month Euribor resets every six months — your payment rises and falls with it.

PISA runs every three years and the countries sitting it differ each time, so positions from different cycles are not comparable and none is offered here. The position is a RANGE because that is how it is published: the scores being ordered carry sampling error, and a single place would claim a precision the survey does not have. Science in 2015 is also not directly comparable with the cycles before it — that is when testing moved from paper to computer.
